The Peter Lougheed Center is located in the North-East of Calgary and has a 24 hour emergency department and intensive care unit. The Peter Lougheed Center also provides services in the following; a maternal newborn program, a neonatal intensive care unit, child health inpatient program, day surgery, geriatrics and a mental health unit. The Peter Lougheed Center also has a Ambulance care service and clinics. The easiest way to get to the hospital is to take the public city transportation.
