Take your jump, pipe and rail skills to the next level at the Source Terrain Park, home to Western Canada’s only Superpipe and more than 30 jib features which are changed biweekly. Cross-country skiers will love Canada Olympic Park’s 2km of trails which are groomed and maintained year-round.
The fun doesn’t stop there! Get the chance to try out professional Olympic sports—bobsleigh and luge rides are available to the public! Before you decide to take the plunge, take a tour of the icehouse, the world’s only indoor training facility for bobsleigh, luge and skeleton teams. Get the chance to hold Calgary’s ’88 Olympic torch at the Olympic Hall of Fame & Museum, featuring the largest collection of Olympic memorabilia in Canada. Ever wonder what it would be like to be a ski jumper? Ride the glass elevator way up high to the amazing Ski Jump Tower, Calgary’s highest vantage point! You’ll get a panoramic view of the city and if you’re lucky, you might see ski jumpers in action!
Experience adrenaline-pumping fun in the summertime as well! You’ll feel like you’re flying on the 500m long and 100m high zip-line course!
