Each fall this event features professional rodeo events comparable to the Calgary Stampede. In October, attend this indoor rodeo, where Calgary’s Stampede queen and princesses are selected.

• Calgary Stampede
  The city is famous for the Calgary Stampede, a huge agricultural fair and rodeo held every July for 10 days. Almost 100 years old and billing itself as "The Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth"
• Calgary Winter Festival
  In early February, this celebration commemorates the 1988 Winter Olympics and all the fun that can be had in winter.
• Canada’s Cowboy Festival
  Calgary celebrates its cowboy heritage in mid February. Activities are centered around the Glenbow Museum.
• Rodeo Royal
  In mid-March, attend this mid-winter indoor rodeo, where Calgary’s Stampede queen and princesses are selected.
