Have you always wanted to see the rodeo, but just can't make it to the Calgary Stampede? Here is your chance to experience the same excitement at Calgary's Rodeo Royal. Each fall this event features professional rodeo events comparable to the Calgary Stampede. In October, attend this indoor rodeo, where Calgary’s Stampede queen and princesses are selected.

The city is famous for the Calgary Stampede, a huge agricultural
fair and rodeo held every July for 10 days. Almost 100 years
old and billing itself as "The Greatest Outdoor Show
on Earth"

In early February, this celebration commemorates the 1988
Winter Olympics and all the fun that can be had in winter.

Calgary celebrates its cowboy heritage in mid February. Activities
