• Calgary Stampede
  The city is famous for the Calgary Stampede, a huge agricultural fair and rodeo held every July for 10 days. Almost 100 years old and billing itself as "The Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth"
• Calgary Winter Festival
  In early February, this celebration commemorates the 1988 Winter Olympics and all the fun that can be had in winter.
• Canada’s Cowboy Festival
  Calgary celebrates its cowboy heritage in mid February. Activities are centered around the Glenbow Museum.
• Rodeo Royal
  In mid-March, attend this mid-winter indoor rodeo, where Calgary’s Stampede queen and princesses are selected.
• FunnyFest - Calgary Comedy Festival
  This festival, held the end of April through mid-May features many nights of comedy with a variety of performers at different venues around the city.
• Calgary Greek Festival
  In late June, this 3 day family festival entertains almost 10,000 attendees with live music, dancing, wine and food.
• Dragonboat Festival
  Held over Saturday and Sunday on the August long weekend, the Calgary Dragon Boat race festival draws teams from across Western Canada and the United States.
• International Native Arts Festival
  The International Native Arts Festival is a one-of-a-kind event in Calgary that celebrates Calgary’s native Indian heritage.
• The Body Soul & Spirit Expo
  For the health conscience person, believing in mind-body-spirit connection, you’ll want to experience Canada's Largest Holistic Lifestyle Consumer Show.
• Calgary International Piano Competition
  For every summer since 1989, the Beaches community of Calgary has presented world-class jazz performers, attracting nearly a million people to the water’s edge.
• Parts Canada Superbike Championship
  Round #3 of the 2009 Parts Canada Superbike Championship at Race City Motorsport Park, June 27-28, 2009.
• Twelve Days of Christmas
  Head down to Heritage Park and celebrate Christmas the old-fashioned way. Costumed "residents" of Heritage Park, actors, and local merchants recreate a pre-Confederation Christmas.
